In a time and era where change is finally good, Tania Mashay is very much a unique individual. Born and raised in a small town in New Jersey, she began exposing her creative talent at a very early age. Mimicing very quickly the dance routines of the "Fly Girls" from the show "in Living Color" when they were the it girls ,to the video girls on MTV. Influences in her life like Janet Jackson, Usher, Ciara, Patti Lebelle, Shaka Kahn, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Rachelle Farelle, motivated her at a young age to show casing her singing and dancing abilities. Singing songs at local talent shows to weddings and family functions of the likes of Patti Lebelle, Shaka Khan, Toni Braxton, just to name a few. Her love for all music ranged from Aretha Franklin, Prince, Madonna, Jodi Watley to Sting, Nirvana, U2, and many more....Throughout highschool and college she realized that her dancing and singing not only was her passion but was an inspiration to others. She could hear a song with just instrumentals being played and could come up with a song and title with full lyrics that completed the song. Her lyrical skills are absolutely amazing. After college she made a very serious and life changing move to New York City to push to fulfill that passion and deep love for entertaining. While living in the city that never sleeps, she developed a very serious love for the style called HOUSE music. Performing at nightclubs throughout NYC she realized she had such a creative style in the world of HOUSE.Artists like Reina, Crystal Waters, Deborah Cox, Heather Headley, CeCe Peniston, Whitney Houston, have played a great part in her career of not just dancing but singing.
