My name is Crista Bowles. Originally from Martinsville, VA USA, but currently living in Collinsville, VA. I'm an artist/musician. I love many different types of music, but my favorite is Metal. I used to play keyboards/ backing vocals/ samples for Shadows Within from 2003-2006. I have had the opportunity to share the stage with & meet a lot of amazing people and bands such as Nothingface, Exodus, Crisis, 3 Inches of Blood, Stemm, Byzantine, Bleed The Sky, Stuck Mojo, Hell Within, Silent Civilian, Glass Casket, & more. I married my best friend & soulmate Dwayne Bowles (Shadows Within main vocals). He is my world and I would be lost without him. I used to be a foster parent. I am fortunate to have 2 parents who are still together and are amazing parents. I do a lot of woodworking, graphic design, drawing, painting, photography, & sculpting. I'm an animal lover and have had about every pet you can think of from snakes, mice, fish, lizards, birds, to horses. Most people would probably call me a tom-boy, but I like girly stuff too. I grew up with mostly guys, so I tend to have more guy friends. I love to go fishing, target practice with my bow/rifles/handguns, doing yardwork/landscaping, and riding 4 wheelers/dirtbikes if I can find one lol. I am a very laid back person and easy to get along with. Halloween is my fav holiday. I'm guilty of being a perfectionist/ neat freak and I'm a bit obsessive/compulsive when it comes to cleanliness and things being in their place. If something is out of place or messy, it drives me crazy lol. I love to watch UFC, I'm a Brandon Vera fan. I like to make new friends. I'm interested in anything fantasy, Sci-Fi, Vampire, and paranormal related. I collect dragons, Star Wars figures, Lord of the Rings figures, gargoyles, oriental decor, & comic books. I love muscle cars, especially Mustangs & Novas. Fall/Autumn is my fav time of year, I love everything about it, so much that I have an autumn leaf tattooed on my left wrist to symbolize my wedding date 10/06/01 and will probably put another on the other wrist later on. I would love to learn to tattoo and airbrush, it has always fascinated me. I used to buy tattoo magazines while I was in high school to get ideas for drawing up designs for people and to practice tattoo design. I was hired one year to do a prom for Laurel Park High School painting tattoos on kids with ink. I look down on cowards who hurt & put others down and think they look cool while doing it. I've pretty much learned the only people you can trust is family and if you're lucky, a close friend. Conformists, be yourself. Originality is always remembered. Want to know more about me just ask.
