DJ Green Rose bought her first record back in 2003, before she even knew she would start playing out in Clubs. She collected a range of music, from Breakbeat thru to Drum and Bass and Jungle. Without any decks to hone her skills on at home, her first mixing experiences came in clubs such as Boom Town and Skladnica Sztuk (Olsztyn, Poland).
These parties were organised by Dj’s Sho and Doodee (aka FreaKy D) in 2005/06. That’s how her journey with turntables began, and it’s still rollin... Her style offers a combination of soulful liquid sounds with broken jungle vibes, as well as harder DnB, filled with juuuicy bass!
This blend of styles has become her trademark sound and the thing that people have gone crazy for at different events around the country. As for the future? Green Rose is focussing on continually developing her skills as a diverse DJ and plans to make her own beats soon – watch this space….(thx Chris:))
