About Me

I recently graduated from the Savannah College of Art & Design and am currently working as a B&W printer in OKC. Art, in many forms, is what I spend a lot of my time doing. I also enjoy reading, traveling, sports, music, comic books, and learning. That's kind of vague but, I'm pretty open to a lot of things. I've spent most of my life in school and working jobs that somehow help to serve my creative interests.I have a website: www.roberthenryart.com. It should have an update soon.I enjoy doing all sorts of art but, photography is my main focus at the time. Most of my time is spent working with my friend Dirk Hooper on Toxic Goddess (www.toxicgoddess.com). I am also working on several comic book and fine art projects in addition to the Toxic Goddess site.I'm far from wealthy, and up this point, have only really begun to leave anything that may live past me. However, I am pretty happy in life and there's a lot of possibility before me.

misspent? (or the distance between)

I recently got back from a trip to Las Vegas. It was a satisfying road trip and has since left me quite pre-occupied in thought. The whole thing came about because a friend was moving out to Las Vega...

desired

It's nice to be desired. Even if it's on a subconcious level. Today a friend of mine told me that she had a dream last night with me in it. And in that dream... well she couldn't repeat what...

Autumn

So it's almost Fall. College football starts this weekend and the NFL the week after that so I imagine Summer's just about over. It's been a nice Summer. It never really got blisteringly hot...

Writing from Chicago tonight. I ventured my way up here to visit some friends (free place to crash), do a photo job, and go to Wizard World. The last few days have been a whirlwind but, it's been nice...

Garbage

Yesterday Garbage (the band) released Absolute Garbage a "best of" collection. I'll own it eventually but, I made a mad dash all over OKC looking for the video collection. I finally tracked it down an...

a tad restless

It's been awhile and I've been pretty busy. I'm still doing the B&W printing at Epperson's and enjoying it for the most part. I'm staying busy with a lot of photo shoots on the side while trying t...

old negatives

The new job is working out pretty nicely. I'm still trying to adjust to working 40 hours a week. I know almost everyone does it so, I'm certainly not looking for sympathy. However, I feel a need to st...
