Online I go by the pen name of "Suum Robur Rosa Ferreum ex Sella Vallis." You can find me on-line if you google "rosaferreum." For those seeking my main online journal, it is here -- http://www.livejournal.com/users/rosaferreum/
Now that we got the preliminary redirection information out of the way, let's get on to the business of deriving why you are here, how you found me, and why you might want to stick around a bit (or not).
Chances are, if you are a recent acquaintance you know me from my university or artistic endeavors. For those not in that loop, these days I am known as the original Executive Administrator of THE INK BLOT (www.theinkblot.net) although I am affiliated with many groups on campus and will continue on as a SOAP volunteer and club advisor.
But who am I really? Well, I would say I am a modern discursive aureate adumbrative ascetic, I suppose. Some might classify me as an ENTJ. I tend to be difficult to read emotionally and when I am not, it is usually a problem. I also tend to have more interests then time permits me to explore.
I grew up in the Lutheran church and my personal philosophy is duly influenced by this training. My confirmation verse is Hebrews 11:1. However, I am best described as a Deist and an Universist now.
I am also a Classical Liberal (to be distinguished from a Contemporary Liberal) and a nomocrat. (I am certainly not a teleocrat.) I support our country's psephocracy, but really don't participate in it. (Eagle Scouts can come chew this ole Chaplain out at any time.)
My colors are Sable and Argent. The blazon for my arms is "sable, on the intersection of four interlaced in saltire medium annulets sable in cross, each fimbriated argent encircling a small ogress fimbriated argent, a small annulet sable fimbriated argent at fess point, all encircled within a large annulet sable fimbriated argent." The blazon for my badge is "on the intersection of four interlaced in saltire medium annulets sable in cross, each fimbriated argent encircling a small ogress fimbriated argent, a small annulet sable fimbriated argent at fess point, all encircled within a large annulet sable fimbriated argent."

The thing that I listed for my major is formatted precisely to reflect what is coming out of the registrar's office: I am officially a Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences Major with a concentration in Law and Science Fiction. This is what you get when you make your own major. That and a 62 page thesis.
In addition to the 62 page Senior Thesis that was written to complete my major program, I also wrote an 89 page Honors Thesis to complete the University Honors Program's upper division requirements. The Senior Thesis I presented at SSCUR and the Honors Thesis I presented at two consecutive annual Upper Division Honors Conferences.
I have been involved in a great many organizations. Many of those student organizations were either ethnic-oriented organizations (but not of my own ethnicity), religiously-oriented organizations, student government, student media organizations, artistic or art appreciation organizations, or (lately) honors societies. As a result of all of my involvments, I was Omicron Delta Kappa's 2004 Province XVI Leader of the Year and was awarded the Outstanding Student Involvment Award for the Office of Student Life for my university. Along the way, I became an Eagle Scout Scholar and a member of Omicron Delta Kappa, Gamma Beta Phi, Alpha Lambda Delta, Phi Alpha Theta, and Golden Key. I also spearheaded a peer advising team for student organization leadership called Student Organization Advisiong Peers or SOAP. I am still an advisior to some of my old university student organizations, but that is on the wane.
You won't see anything about what I am doing presently because, well, what do I do around here? I am not really sure and I don't think it is terribly much. Besides, I think my official record of my involvements and such is a bit overrated. Don't you?
If you want my assistance, I am usually quick to render a hand to those in need of it, so please ask. If I can help, I will.
