About Me

MySpace Countdown
My name is Elizabeth and I am a third year graduate student working on my PhD in Cognitive Psychology at UC Riverside. I spend most of my days in my lab researching working memory capacity and selective attention, mostly negative and positive priming. It is challenging and consumes most of my life, but I love it. Once I have my PhD I am either going to be a professor so I can continue to do the research that I want, or I will work in industry researching what others want. Either way it should be interesting.
I can't live without my coffee. I'd live in my pajamas if I could. I'm definitely not a morning person. I would take a bunch of daisies over a bouquet of roses any day. My favorite colors are baby blue and pink. I love it when its sunny, but I hate it when it rains. I'm really short, but I'm ok with it. (That's what heels are for!) I really like grad school and what I'm doing, but sometimes that artificial turf sure looks appealing. :-)

My Interests

My sweet, smart, handsome, fiancée Tom!

I'd like to meet:

I already met him! :)

Music:

I pretty much like everything that comes on the radio. I love Michael Bublé, Rod Stewart, and all of the "Rat Pack".

Movies:

I like all types of movies, but I prefer romantic comedies. What can I say, I'm a girl who likes a happy ending! My favorites are How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, 13 Going on 30, Love Actually, Serendipity, Never Been Kissed, Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates, Wedding Planner, Must Love Dogs, Music and Lyrics, The Holiday, Catch and Release, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, and Just Like Heaven. My all time favorite movie from when I was little is Summer Magic!

Television:

I'm addicted to Grey's Anatomy! Friends, Seinfeld, and Sex and the City are still on my list of favorites. I love House, Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Ugly Betty, Heroes, Medium, Cold Case, Without a Trace, and all of the Law and Orders.

Books:

I hate to read!
