Ruben Cuartas is an international musician who came to the United States at the age of 18 years from Medellin, Colombia, South America. His life long dream was to conquer the world with his music, bringing positive energy, passion and love into peoples’ hearts.Ruben’s array of instruments include Classical/Flamenco Guitar, Flutes, Rain sticks, Bird calls and Vocals. His influences come from Classical music, Flamenco, Rock, Arabic, Indian, Latin, African, and Music from the Andes (Peru) Amazons. Creating a style like no other, he is described as NEW AGE FLAMENCO and WORLD MUSIC. He combines the passion, fire, and speed of flamenco guitar with sounds from the Rain forest and flutes from the Andes. With his Unique Synth Guitar he can simulate sounds from all over the world: sitar, bouzouki, piano, bass, strings... When he brings out his Electric Guitar!!!! He really rocks. His music creates an atmosphere that lifts the human spirit.Ruben has achieved fame throughout the Miami and Ft. Lauderdale areas over the past 15 years and has also performed in Georgia, Canada, Colombia, Mexico… In Miami he has performed at Bayside, South Beach: Cafe Med, Mango's, Sea Cafe, Avalon, The Loews Hotel and The Ritz Carlton.In Ft. Lauderdale he has performed at Riverfront, Beach Place, Oasis at Sawgrass Mills, Cafe Del Mar and Spazio.
