Brief::
From the inception
Future Leaders of the World in 2003, and releasing "LVLIV," with EPIC records in 2004, Phil Taylor has had great success and accomplishment in a very short amount of time as a musician and performing artist. In late 2004 early 2005, F.L.O.W.'s single, "Let me out," reached no.3 on active rock charts and stayed in the top 10 for over two months.
Upon the band breaking up in the summer of 2005, Taylor teamed up with John LeCompt(Guitar) and Rocky Gray(drums) from the band
Evanescence to begin writing new material and formed a serious songwriting relationship. In the summer of 2006, that relationship became the foundation for the group,
Machina ( myspace.com/machinametal ), when Thad Ables(bass) and Jack Wiese(guitar) transformed a collection of songs into a real band. After recording a 6 song demo at the underground famous, Pointer's Palace (ZAO, Living Sacrifice), in Little Rock, AR, the band took a temporary hiatus.
With Evanescence on tour, Taylor began to focus more on songwriting and producing. Taylor joined the talented staff of Jim Callahan (engineer,producer,studio owner) and Trouble Valli (Crazytown-producer, engineer) as in-house producer at
Jupiter Studios in St. Louis Missouri in late 2006.
After producing, performing, and writing for several local St.Louis area and national artists from around the U.S. at Jupiter Studios from 2006-2007, Taylor moved back to Arkansas to continue working with Machina touring and recording their first full-length album. When he's not on tour or working with Machina, Taylor continues to work on many projects with artists and bands that have diverse musical backgrounds and aspirations. His mission is to be a catalyst for artists to take their vision to it's fullest potential, both musically and marketing wise. With his extensive music industry experience and deep seeded connections, Taylor is sure to help any passionate artist who is willing to work hard to realize their dreams.
