SWOLE and D.K. make up the high energy, suave, and dynamic duo collectively called Fam Famil!!! SWOLE hails from Windsor, NC and D.K. reps Jersey City, NJ and now they call Atlanta, GA home. They met through a mutual friend named DJ Thunder in Norfolk, VA and SWOLE and D.K. quickly developed into a team that made ear-catching music. One of their very first songs, “Dirty South”, actually beat out one of I-20’s songs feat. Ludacris on Slam It or Jam It on Norfolk, VA’s 103 Jamz with EJ Greg. The song, “Dirty South”, won three days in a row! Fam Famil believed good things were on the horizon!
As Fam Famil settled in Atlanta, GA, they started hitting the local scene and spreading the Fam Famil name. Keep your ears and eyes open for their blazin’ Mix CD and their hot singles “Where The Money At”, "Party Tonight" and “Baby Girl” feat. Q of 112. With the ability to give club goers street/club bangers and radio listeners the ear candy they yearn, Fam Famil is working on establishing itself as a true Hip-Hop Brand.
Their influences include: Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J, Big Daddy Kane, KRS One, Run-DMC, Tupac, Wu-Tang, Snoop Dogg, OutKast, Jay-Z and 50 Cent. The best way to describe Fam Famil would be street, lady friendly, and lyrical. They are both Hip-Hop and Rap! They know how to make songs! The energy they bring with their live performance is bananas and they are set on conquering all aspects of the entertainment world. Fam Famil is working to earn their respect in the music industry!
