About Me

Delilah is Professor of English at Concord University in Athens, West Virginia, where she has taught Creative Writing for fifteen years. Daughter of a coal miner, Delilah grew up in Clintwood, Virginia, with Irish and Cherokee heritage. She has resided all of her life in the Appalachian region. A survivor of rape, abuse, and cancer, Delilah created Walk Free Press in 2005 to help others toward survivorship. Delilah walks the Beauty Path.
