About Me

I was born on a rainy April afternoon six minutes after my sister Colleen. I grew up in Lakewood, Colorado in family of five, my parents, my twin sister, and my brother Nick. I attended elementary school at Kendrick Lakes Elementary, then I attended Dunston Junior High. After that I went to Green Mountain High School. I was active in band and marching band playing several instruments, including trumpet, French horn, and mellophone. After High School I went to the University of Colorado in Boulder. Where I majored in MCDB with a minor in philosophy. After I graduated from CU, I decided to go into nursing and I attended the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, where I got my BSN. I currently work as a nurse in the ICU of P/SL. While I was in nursing school I met the love of my life Lindsay. We were married in June of 2003. We currently reside in the city of Denver, and are saving money to buy a house.

My Interests

I love the outdoors, especially hiking and camping. I have summited 11 14ers, plus several 13ers and other great mountains in Colorado. I am also working on all state High Points having summited 8 of those. I am also interested in Travel, having traveled over Europe and the USA with plans to travel more in the future. I am also quite a foodie, I enjoy cooking lots of different kinds of food like Indian, and Mexican. I also enjoy playing poker, and play in Blackhawk CO several times a month.

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet Weird Al Yankovic to discuss the state of music today. I would like to meet Al Gore to discuss the environment, and to tell him there is no vote I am more proud of than my vote for him. I would like to meet Homer Jay Simpson to ask him for his sage advice on life. I would like to meet Immanuel Kant to discuss the nature of reality, and to discuss why John Locke is dumb.
