About Me

Telling Stories….Never had a band name depicted so truly what it represents. The StoryTellers describe themselves , like so many of this lost generation , ‘as modern day observers expeling daily frustrations & joys’ . In today’s ‘New band everyday world’ , these words could seem tarnished but they ring true here and their songs prove it.The ST’s songs truly mirror the mosaique of colors and cultures that make our society today with no-one really belonging in one place or being just one person. Black & White is out with them. Jé, the musical mind behind the duo & Nico Joms , the song writer were two exasperated corporate execs who reached their tolerance threshold and could no longer hold back on their creative aspirations . Past the teen frenzy of wanting to be rock gods , these two friends just aspire to do what they do well and be listened to.With self-proclaimed references ranging from Rock to World music and going into more contemporary trends, The ST’s allow themselves the freedom of choosing a musical type to accompany the lyrics not by systematic preference but rather by attempting to create global harmony between words & music. With their songs, you can’t help but notice the natural personal link between the listener and the music. Just by acknowledging what most of us think , they reassure . They avoid ‘ down the throat morality’ and do what any good album / movie should do , make you ponder and relate.
