Hail my friends.Landøyðan was formed by me, Mattis, in 2006 in Asker/Norway. The music is extreme metal, heavy influenced by black and folk metal.The name "Landøyðan" means Land-destroyer, and was the war-banner/flag of the Norwegian viking king Harald Hardråde(Hardrada).
The saga tells that the man who had the Landøyðan would never lose a battle under its mark. Landøyðans symbole was a black raven.
At the moment Landøydan is a one mans project, however Venomenon from Sectumsempra have done some vocals for me on "My Inner War", check it out.
