About Me

My name is Niall, welcome to mymyspace. The "cool new people" in myspace Ireland are far from cool. Especially that Ronan fool it keeps showing with the bad facial hair.

One thing you should note, whilst viewing my profile, is that the plural of die is actually 'dice', not dices. I'm very particular about that.

My Interests

I am very interested in sports. Almost every sport, except motor-sports, which aren't really sports. I like Party-Poker, its becoming a nightly event at this stage if I'm staying in.

I'd like to meet:

Tom off myspace, Fidel Castro, Bill O'Herily, Eamon Dunphy and Russell Brand. I already have met Jack Charlton, Les Battersby, Gerry Adams and the loveable Ray Shah, so I am content enough at the moment anyway.

Music:

Richie Hawtin, Alexander Robotnick, Magda, Ricardo Villalobos, Kraftwerk, The Knife, Sven Vath, Broken Social Scene, Neil Landstrumm, Bangkok Impact, Radiohead, The Advent, Surgeon, The Stone Roses, Depeche Mode, Hot Chip, Dj yoda Legowelt, Feist, Technasia, Dj Rush, Steve Bug, Dexter, Redshape, Laurent Garnier, Cansei de Ser Sexy, Anthony Rother, I-F, Hell, Nathan Fake, James Holden, The Arcade Fire, Two Lone Swordsmen, Leftfield, Bjork, Tiga, Superpitcher, LCD Soundsystem, Joanna Newsom, Pulp, Roots Manuva, Andrew Weatherall, Dave Clarke, Alex Smoke, The Postal Service, Boards of Canada, Matthew Johnson, Matthew Dear/Audion, Green Velvet, The Smiths, The Manic Street Preachers, Michael Mayer, The Orb, Tony Rohr, Donncha Costello, Ellen Allien, Alden Tyrell, DJ Funk, Modeselektor, The CureThats the music I like, incase there is any confusion.

Movies:

Here's a few... Scanner Darkly, Pi, Requiem for a Dream, Lost in Translation, Rushmore, The Life Aquatic, Le Haine, Sexy Beast, Goodfellas, The Wind that Shakes the Barley, Battle Royale, Psycho, Pan's Labyrinth, Cache, Children of Men, Primer, The Departed, Old Boy, City of God, L'enfant, Dead Man's Shoes, A Clockwork Orange, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, The Big Lebowski, Fargo, O Brother, where art thou, Little Miss Sunshine, Delicatessen, Amelie, United 93, L.A. Confidential, Pulp Fiction, Irreversible, Gegen die Wand.

Television:

I like to watch Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Sopranos, Coronation Street and Countdown. After that, Reeling in the Years, Builders From Hell and the Angelus. The Mighty Boosh, The Office and Peep Show are great English comedies. Ireland doesn't really cut the mustard when it comes to comedies, nor indeed other television- take gems like Reeling in the Years, Paisean Faisean and Dustin's Daily out of the equation and what's left is just not up to scratch.

Books:

Due to my worryingly short attention span and my many vices in life, I rarely finish a book. I've started many books if that counts.

Heroes:

Robin Friday, Georgie Best, Oliver Brady and Paul McGrath. My music heroes appear above, in the music section. I like a lot of people in the public-eye, but I wouldn't classify them as heroes- thats quite a big honour to bestow on someone.

My Blog

London Town

Not sure if I should be writing a blog about this town yet as I am still to find a job. Thats the only thing getting me down about the place. I know I'd enjoy myself all the more if I had a bit of moo...

Glastonbury

Having returned from Glastonbury all I can say is that I've never enjoyed myself so much at a festival. I've been to festivals with better lineups, I've been to festivals with better weather and I've ...
