I have many, most in music and art. Ask me about my interests, I have several.
Courage, strength, fortitude. Power not arrested in the act of judgement, but passing on to further action, sometimes obstinacy.
This is a card of courage and energy. It represents both the Lion's hot, roaring energy, and the Maiden's steadfast will. The innocent Maiden is unafraid, undaunted, and indomitable. In some cards she opens the lion's mouth, in others she shuts it. Either way, she proves that inner strength is more powerful than raw physical strength. That forces can be controlled and used to score a victory is very close to the message of the Chariot, which might be why, in some decks, it is Justice that is card 8 instead of Strength. With strength you can control not only the situation, but yourself. It is a card about anger and impulse management, about creative answers, leadership and maintaining one's personal honor. It can also stand for a steadfast friend.
What Tarot Card are You?

In general, I'd like to meet characters. People who are real, honest and have a story to tell, even if it's really long. As for men, well, if you actually read this you will know exactly what I want, so pay attention. I like very honest, intelligent, quirky, funny, artistic, quiet, and open-minded men. I like someone who is mature and is responsible for himself and his actions. This doesn't mean I want someone uptight and repressed, just someone with his shit together. I need someone who can keep up with me and will let me be me. I like a man who isn't afraid to make the first move and who KNOWS WHAT HE WANTS. He must like pussy (both kinds) and he must never act like one. I love charmers but I can smell bullshit from a mile away; fast talkers have never turned me on. If you can show me that you have a big heart and a big mind, I'll show you everything.
Anything that is good. Creed is NOT good.
I usually sleep through movies but when I'm awake, comedies (no guarantees I'll make it through those, either!)
TV rots your brain but I am guilty of loving The Family Guy and HBO programming.
Who has time to read?! Seriously, I have a beautiful 27" tv that I hardly ever use. I am a reader. I am not much of a fan of too many things written after 1900, though. Modern authors generally don't oil my gears but there are a few brilliant ones like George Orwell and John Kennedy Toole. A few of my favorite authors are Oscar Wilde, Mary Shelley, Emily Bronte, Edgar Allan Poe and Lord Byron (George Gordon). My all-time favorite is William Shakespeare. Yes, it is true, I am a complete Shakespearian geek! The man was brilliant and his stories/plays were visionary as they have truly stood the test of time.I do have one guilty pleasure and that's Anais Nin. I really love that she was this woman in the 1930's doing the "unspeakable" by writing erotica. It might not be such a big deal in 2006, but it was scandalous for her time. I love that!
My Parents, the beautiful Deanna Stephenson, Patrick Proud, Oscar Wilde, Elvis, Jimmy Page, Joan Jett, Johnette Napolitano, and Ann Wilson. That's right, I said ANN FUCKING WILSON! You don't like it, kiss my ass! Last but certainly not least, the entire city of New Orleans and all of the beautiful people who make it so special. God bless all of you! .. width="425" height="350" ..
