DR Nickel has been a Performer, Producer, MC and DJ for over ten years. Constantly changing and evolving his styles and influences to remain as a prominent force in the San Diego music scene. His music is produced on a Computer using Reason,Ableton and loads of software Synths and Samplers. Plus a Korg synth, Pioneer CDj, Turntables, Guitar, Drums, Piano and any other objects or instruments that make alot of noise. All the music and lyrics on this page are Original songs written by Dustin R Nichols and guests mcs and producers he records with on a regular basis. Tidepool music is a San Diego based Hip Hop group whose members (iD, Leif(kolt) and DR Nickel) formed in late 2006. Thier continuous drive and love for the culture keeps them hungry and relentlessly writing albums and playing shows for the fans and friends.
