I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm currently attempting to seek enlightenment by attempting not to attempt anything at all. I recently graduated college, am looking for a job. I am over-analytical and have a bizarre sense of humor. I speak 8 languages, 7 of which no longer exists. I have a passion for the pursuit of (mostly useless)knowledge, horrible spelling and a pet hedgehog.Created with mySpace Profile Editor

My Interests

As of recent I'm on some kind of Mystic/Zen/Enlightenment kick. So i am franticly soaking up as much information about nothing as I can find I'll let you know what I find out. Other interests include: most things that could be described as spiritual, the void, the force, groovy vibrations, becoming one, sage, cigars, coffee, philosophy, attempting to understand people, attempting to understand myself, everything, nothing, speaking in contradictions, traveling, caffeine induced mania, dogs, laying in fields, connecting on the beach, admiring the beauty of this thing we call the world, Swahili, finding useless crap on the internet, live music, non-live music, creativity, marveling at the abilities of sensation.

I'd like to meet:

mystics, philosophers, lovers, fighters, independent, codependent, passionate people, lackluster people, contradictions, poets, animal lovers, music lovers, life lovers, travel lovers, music creators, anyone in general that has a creative spree, the every man, the every woman, strange peoples with an odd sense of humor, and anyone that stimulates my intellect,... or genitals.

Myspace Layouts

Music:

Allot. Some of my favorites include: Wilco, Bright Eyes, Dylan, Radiohead, My Morning Jacket, Death Cab for Cutie, Ryan Adams, Roots, Mos Def, Miles Davis, Coltrane, Damien Rice, Johnny Cash, Velvet Underground. I'm always open to new music with good lyrics, also anything experimental. Music thats kind of out there. I think most modern "alternative" rock is crap as is most pop, but especially pop country. I'm always open to try new music, but I'm a lyric head. I can't help it, the first time I hear a song I listen and analyze the lyrics. Thats just what I do. Which is why I dislike most rap. I don't give a damn about your rims and how much crystal you drank at "da club."

Movies:

anything the Rock has stared in or midget porn. If the Rock stared in a midget porn, oh man, I'd be in heaven, a heaven filled with strange eyebrow expressions and naked little people. Thats actually how I picture heaven.

Television:

Me and my TV dont get along. Before we had a falling out I enjoyed Family Guy, South Park, the Daily Show, and

Books:

Right now I'm on this Eastern kick, so I'm reading all of the Alan Watts I can get my hands on, also Ram Dass. As far as fiction On the Road (and most Kerouac things) remains at the top of my favorite books as well as, Breakfast of Champions (and most Vonnegut things).
