I am a former midwest captive, free at last.

I am the frontman for the metal band IKILLYA.

I am a rebel with a tendency to try and convince you that my balls are bigger then my brain.

I am a paradox of freedom and captivity.

I am a dreamer who believes that honesty, integrity, justice, and truth are not yet dead.

I am a bullet to the chest, loyal friend with a recurring nightmare that I am all-alone.

I am artist/singer/poet who cannot ever seem to please himself.

I am an egomaniac who believes that it may be the only thing that has kept him alive.

I am a sarcastic cynic who derives equal parts pleasure and pain from the life forms I endure.

I am a lover who wakes up at night wondering why so few know.

I am a small man with a penchant for being blunt and a lack of healthy fear for my own well being.

I am an adventurer with a history of committing to lifestyles that prevent adventure.

I am a fool who thinks you might actually read all of this.

I am a lucky man blessed with a woman who believes in me and a family and friends who forgot to give up.

I am a broken trail of dreams, lessons learned, and risks gleefully taken.

I am stronger from it.

I am devoid of regret.

I am excited to face the future.

I am ready to fall again.

I am not defined by the pain I have survived.

Music:

I'm a metalhead at heart, but I love talent, in any form.

My favorite band is - Type O Negative , but I LOVE good ol' american groove metal like
- Pantera (aka GOD)
- Lamb Of God
and european melodic death like
- In Flames
- The Haunted
- Dark Tranquility
- Childern Of Bodom

I am also a huge post rock fan, such as
- Sigur Ros
- Mogwai

I love classical, and believe that the true measure of any music is if it transfers to classical and still maintains it's beauty.

I love balls out, straight up rock/stoner, specificly the more southern rock influenced or metal influenced bands. as in

- Graveyard BBQ

I love Jeff Buckley

I'm a sucker for glam, I have a huge collection and will one day pull off a one time, total glammed out show

Blues and jazz are some of my favorite things to see live. I absolutely love Alex Skolnick

I have also recently discovered the beautiful genuis of the country/rock sound of
- Rick Wilson and Tunnel Motor

You get the point. I have a huge CD collection and my wish list is probably larger than most stores.

I love movies that change your preception of reality like

- Shawshank Redemption

I also love british comedy but I'm quite hard to please on other comedy. Monty Python is my absolute favorite.

I love rock and roll movies, but they always depress me
