Moon Girl meets Outer Space Ranger Boy
I met an Outer Space Ranger boy
and he asked where I'm from
"The moon-" I said " be careful- I carry a gun.
Up on the Moon, it gets rather lonley
People like me- I am the only"
"So what of this gun, if you are just one?
Why protect yourself if there's no need to run?"
"There is something that no one can see
it's something way-way deep-deep down-down inside me.
Don't get too close, don't burst my bubble
This Moon Girl is nothing but trouble"
Space Ranger boy smiled.
"Don't you worry" he said "I'm trouble too.
There isn't anything that you can do-
to make me budge. Hold a grudge
I wander from star to star- I have no home
I have been looking for a place to call my own."
"You have been forewarned..." I said to he," ...my lips are poison. You better not kiss me"
but then he did, and I put down my space gun
my heart thundered and my feets wanted to run.
But I noticed the lonely, milky, misty moon glow
and thought it would be better to be not so all
alone.
