i've really been on a bender, and it shows

About Me

"Doctors destroy health, psychiatrists destroy minds, lawyers destroy justice, the major media destroy information, governments destroy freedom and religions destroy spirituality - yet it is claimed to be healthy, just, informed, free and spiritual." -Dr. Michael Ellner

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Already they have raised up a monied aristocracy that has set the government at defiance. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs." -Thomas Jefferson.

My Interests

Self-fulfillment in any way shape or form.

I'd like to meet:

Someone who has their shit together (or is at least working on it).

Music:

One day I may fill this out, and it will be a LONG, varied list.

Movies:

Stranger Than Fiction, lost in translation, fight club, american beauty, punch-drunk love, donnie darko, fog of war, what the bleep do we know?, the secret, american splendor and anything else that makes you think. american history x. i'm sure there's more. oh, and definitely the matrix.

Television:

Only in DVD form, please. News Radio (Phil Hartman, we hardly knew ya), Deadwood, 3rd Rock From The Sun, That 70's Show, Sealab 2021, My So-Called Life, Monty Python, Strangers With Candy, Chappelle's Show, All In The Family, Mr. Show, Home Movies, Freaks And Geeks, Futurama, Dr. Katz, The Simpsons, Sopranos, Curb Your Enthusiasm, South Park (kind of), Seinfeld (with Larry David in tow), Kids In The Hall, Ren And Stimpy, Ned And Stacy, and I'm still looking for someone to watch every episode (and the movie) of The X-Files with.

Books:

We Want To Live by Aajonus Vonderplanitz (wewant2live.com) 78 Degrees Of Wisdom. Just finished Hollywood. And before that it was She Comes First. Dancing In The Mind Field by Kary Mullis is quite good. Any Seth book you care to sink your mind into. Mostly non-fiction, but I'll read some fiction from time to time.

Heroes:

"The significant problems we face cannot be solved at the same level of consciousness we were at when we created them." -Albert Einstein
