JR (D.I.F.H.)

The only hard feelings that I've got are in my front pocket.

About Me

I am a member of Team Reflection. I have a wool sweater that says "METAL." on it. Sometimes, I wish I was a mexican woman born in the mid to late 40s so I could be abducted by monsters and be saved by El Santo, The Blue Demon, and Mil Mascaras. Love and Rockets and Beckett's prose serve solely as bedtime reading in the Bueller household. I am a man of many names. Also, I am a total food and beverage nerd.

My Interests

Anything that I might find remotely entertaining. I like talking about nerdy things but acting like I am too cool for them afterwards. I want more tattoos right now. Oh, and I think that bid euchre is a fundamentally better game than pick up.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone and everyone. I should however warn you that I will not tolerate unintentionally poor grammar, all caps while typing, or the use of stupid phrases like "ur" or anything else that is related. Message me before you add me; this is a common courtesy. You will not be added if you do not do this. Thank you.In terms of people I probably or certainly will never meet in my life, Samuel Beckett, Bill Hicks, and someone like me, but generally better at everything. Just to teach me some humility.I have made at least two mistakes in the above paragraph about good grammar. Point them out to get a cookie. Well, probably not a cookie, I don't like sweet things, but maybe some sort of other good food. Collard greens, perhaps.OK, it is pretty obvious at this point that no one reads this, but I will try in vain none the less. If you are a band that is not listed in my music section, I will not befriend you. I do not care at all whom you sound like.AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, if you want to befriend me, message me first; otherwise you will be rejected.

Music:

Morrissey, The Smiths, SCOTS, James, Integrity, Hank Williams, Tom Waits, Mono, The New Pornographers, The Elite, Hank III, Neko Case, Elvis, Falconer, Misfits (Original), Balzac, The Pogues, The Fiery Furnaces, Righteous Brothers, Everly Brothers, Walker Brothers, Deadbolt, The Statesmen, The Zombies, Primal Scream, Biff Bang Pow!, My bloody Valentine, flying saucer attack, The Fall, Scott H. Television:

I'll pass. Degrassi is entertaining. Freaks and Geeks and Wonderfalls were art.

Books:

I read alot of plays, and subsequently alot of books about plays. The Boys, Far Away, The Real Thing, Not I, Blasted, Love and Understanding, The Pillowman, and pretty much anything else by In-yer-face or Beckett. In terms of prose, C.S. Lewis, Cormac McCarthy, Jose Saramago, and Ayn Rand write well. Preacher, by Garth Ennis, stands up to any of these aforementioned works. Moby Dick.

Heroes:

Bill Hicks, El Santo. Thomas the Tank Engine.
