In a perfect world, I would read a couple hours a day, play video games for a couple more, and then kick back and watch some movies before heading out to one of my bubs' places to sit around and talk. Grabbing little bits of time to paintball, play family football (one of the more brutal forms of football), cook a nice meal, and have intelligent conversations with my lady are also among my favorites.
I'd like to meet:
Nearly everyone famous I want to meet is dead, so of the living, I would like to meet unselfish people, people that have intelligently chosen a religion and political stance, and someone that isn't ignorant (I am fine with meeting stupid people, but ignorant ones make me want to kill). Also, if you are a Kevin Look-alike, I would also like to meet you; that'd be just plain nifty.

Music:
I love mainly rock and classical music. My favorite artists include, Mozart, Beethoven, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and Bon Jovi. But I also have a liking for punk, techno, a cappella, and gospel (only if the vocals are good, though). I am currently on a Franz Ferdinand kick, and also enjoy Modest Mouse. Ummmmmm . . . .the Minibosses are pretty cool too, but then again, I AM a nerd who likes video game music, so . . might not be your cup of tea. Hmmm. Beatles are okay too, but I much prefer Elvis; damn fine musicians they both are, though. Daft Punk is a good-in, too. Oh yeah, Voltaire is good too. I love their "God Thinks." Brown Derbies, Dropkick Murphy's, Save Ferris, and Rockapella are also grand. Coheed and Cambria have a great sound to them. Me singing in the shower is awesome; I sings all my favorites there. :D The Smiffenpoofs have a nice sound too, as I recently discovered. System of a Down is good, too, but I think they way are overplayed, unfortunately.
Movies:
If it is a comedy or a horror movie, odds are I like it. Among my favorites are Tommy Boy, Kung Fu Hustle, Hellraiser II, The Omens I-III, Alien and Aliens, Big Fish, Dracula:The Dark Prince, and Dodgeball. Star Wars is my all-time favorite, especially III and V. I am also currently STILL trying to learn to like the LOTR trilogy. I should love them because a) I'm a nerd, 2) I love that fantasy type of stuff and 3) I love knights and orcs and stuff. So, that will hopefully turn out okay. Wish me luck. Anyway, I also have a liking for Beauty and the Beast, and the Phantom of the Opera. Tombstone is a good one, and who could possible hate the Ghostbusters? Oh, Equilibrium is a marvelous movie. Event Horizon is nice; anyone want to watch if with me? It's goooooood. Come oooooon, please? Ooooh well. Well, the Evil Dead Trilogy is also just fabulous.
Television:
Hmmm. I love the History Channel, as well as Cartoon Network and Comedy Central. I really like Futurama, Reno 911, WWII documentaries, South Park, and other such shows. Oh, Friday Night Stand-up is good, too. Hehehe. "There was a monkey, WHO THREW BARRELS!!" Hehehehe. Funny guy right there. Also, my love of the Simpsons will never diminish. NEVER. -_- I used to love Ducktales and Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers back in the day, among many others. Scrubs was pretty good too. Oh, and I love the Critic, as short-lived as it was. I used to also loved Beakman's World. Remember that? Oh, you crazy scientist, you . . . .good times. Oh, and Spongebob is quite enjoyable for me.
Books:
I love all but three of the 63 Star Wars books I own, excepting the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy; it wasn't quite as exciting as the other 60 books, but the others were very well written and had a great deal of depth to them, including tactically (I'm a sucker for strategy). I love Beowulf, because of the fantastic characters and unique story. I love MacBeth because of the hidden meaning of nearly every sentence in the play. I love The Rommel Papers because they provide an in-depth look at one of my heroes. I recently read and thoroughly enjoyed The Franco-Prussian War, and have read many World War II books. Garfield and Calvin & Hobbes are among my favorite comic strip reads, along with Foxtrot; the first appeals to my fat side, the second to my mischievious side, and the third to my nerdy side. Edgar Allen Poe proves to be a good read, and I also enjoy my massive Shakespeare collection. I enjoy many other books, but these are the creme de la creme for me.
Heroes:
I have two idols, one for different aspects of life. Erwin Rommel, because of his tactical ability, charisma in leading men, and overwhelming sense of duty and ethics, provides a model for personal conduct in life. Saint Michael, my other mentor, is the perfect paradigm of strength, loyalty, honesty, faith, and justice, all which are appealing to me.
