I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

My office has a door on it. Sure, I share it with someone else, but it's still better than being planted in a cubicle farm. I spend most of my days sitting in front of a computer, staring blankly at the monitor. When I need a break, I head to the washroom or to the coffee station for refreshments. Once I am released from my cage, I usually go out and get fat with friends. Working out has become a pasttime, that I hope to return to shortly. We'll see if that actually happens. Luckily, the poo flinging chimp wasn't available. I'd still be searching for work if he was.
You Are Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
You take the title "mad scientist" to the extreme -with very scary things coming out of your lab. And you've invented some pretty cool things, from a banana sharpener to a robot politician. But while you're busy turning gold into cottage cheese, you need to watch out for poor little Beaker! "Oh, that's very naughty, Beaker! Now you eat these paper clips this minute." My Interests

Increasing my geek-power, playing Iron Chef, coveting Milton's red stapler, being a two-wheeled ninja, realizing that I'm not going to be a rock star

I'd like to meet:

1. People who are geeky and proud of it. 2. Smart people. Intelligence is just plain sexy. 3. Gil Grissom - The nerdiest badass ever. 4. Weird little Chinese girls that listen to country music, plot the theft of other people's babies, and have an unnatural obsession with the color yellow. Oh wait, I already know one of these. The trouble is getting rid of them. =)

Music:

Imelda de la Cruz, John Mayer, The Fray, Jack Johnson, Augustana, James Morrison, The All-American Rejects, O.A.R., Lifehouse, and Gym Class Heroes are some of my current favorites.

Movies:

Serendipity, Keeping the Faith, Love Actually, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Hero, Shaolin Soccer, God of Cookery, most old school kung fu flicks, and just about anything with Jet Li

Television:

Heroes, House, CSI, The Simpsons, Family Guy, That 70's Show, Friends

Books:

Sudoku to Boost Your Brainpower, The Pragmatic Programmer, VBScript Programmer's Reference. I'm proud of my geekiness and I've got the shirt to prove it. =)
