Smarter than the average wooden bear

About Me

I'm a well balanced, yet charmingly impulsive manic depressive in a boy-next-door kind of a way. This is assuming that the boy that lives next door to you is barking mad. Joking aside, have you ever noticed that people who say "I'm crazy I am" Never are?I am always open to suggestion and seeking constant change. Apathetic, complacent and average are three good words not to describe me - I merely aspire to being those. I break some of the rules of etiquette in that I speak the truth, say what I mean and do what I say....I know it's wrong, but I can't stop. Like my chum The Panther I have no yearning to trek across the Himalayas in a barrel. I also crave constant challenge in life. At the moment that challenge is "Watching Big Brother" I have a personal best of 3 minutes 18 seconds, before being drained of the will to live..... UPDATE - NEW CHALLENGE There's a toss thing set in a jungle - I think it's called "I'm a hasbeen get me out of here" It's best not to think about the kind of people that would avidly watch this drivel...I'd guess it would hit the spot for "Big Brother" and "The Apprentice" devotees. Lastly I tend not to suffer fools gladly which can be confusing for the incompetentia and interpreted as "cutting"BTW - If you want to be my friend could you please send a message along with your application, stating briefly why on earth that might be, you silly goose.

My Interests

6.4% AER at the moment

I'd like to meet:

Barry out of the Cillit Bang advert, as he seems like a very pleasant, sensitive kind of bloke, with an ear for a sympathetic chat - And maybe I could recommend a hearing aid for him. King Kong as he always seemed like a decent bloke, albeit in a private kind of a way.
.. "; ..

Music:

All things Zappanese, David Byrne, Lou Reed, Robbie Robertson, Eels, E (The bloke, not the drug) Tindersticks, Aimee Mann, Van the Man, Ed Mann, Don Van Vliet, Ry Cooder, Meryl Bainbridge, along with many others that I can't remember off hand...Doh!!How could I forget the token British entrants The Zutons, Viv Stanshall, Dave Davies and Morrissey.

Movies:

Eraserhead and most other David Lynch films, True Romance, Pee Wees Big Adventure, African Queen (No, not Ainsley Harriot), The Abyss, Deliverance, Leon, Southern Comfort, Cape Fear, As Good As It Gets, Withnail and I and most John Candy films.

Television:

The Sopranos, Skins, The Mighty Boosh, 3 minutes 18 seconds of Big Brother, 7 minutes of The Apprentice and of course all the Cillit Bang commercials.

Books:

Most books by John Connolly, Stephen King, James Herbert, Dean Koontz...y'get the drift...and by default Moon Unit Zappa, Ahmet Emuukha Rodan Zappa

Heroes:

Barry out of the Cillit Bang advert - If I could just be like him for five minutes my life would be complete.....What a bloke. Another hero of mine is Abi Hardings saxophone - what a job to have...
