Born in September 29th, Romy Naomi E. started performing at an early age. As a young girl she took dancing lessons, played tennis and was a member of a local youth club. Coming from a bilingual family with a great music range, Romy and her 5 siblings grew up listening to great artists such as Michael Jackson, R. Kelly, Toni Braxton, Maxwell, Bob Marley, Aretha Franklin, Johnny Halliday, En Vogue and so on. Her love of performing showed when she performed at her School at the age of 11. It was obvious that she had stardom in her. From that time on, She spent all her spare time recording herself trilling along to tunes by her R&B heroes on a bedroom karaoke machine. Romy’s passion for music grew even more when she moved to High School, where she made music one of her H.S subjects. She took part in the School plays, talent shows and would write songs for people such as her cousin who was a singer. Now in college majoring in Media Studies, Romy is learning how to become a good journalist and also how to use studio equipments through Sound Engineer and radio studies classes, which she feels it’s important for her because she would like to have her own recording studio one day. Romy discovered modeling recently and fell in love with it. She would like to not only pursue her singing and modeling career but also to become a dance teacher so she can pass her talent along.
