Mikka Sikorsky

Mikka Sikorsky (real name: Michael Selkin) was born on the 11th of May 1973 in Tula, Russia, a small city 191 km from Moscow. Every since his earlier years, Mikka has shown interest in broken beat rhythms. Since his humble beginnings using Tracker software, there are a definite learning curve with developing his sound. After a long period of writers block with using the tracker software, Mikka focused on creating more original sequencing patterns and developing sounds using professional software. Shortly after his demos started to catch the ear of listeners, many asking, " who is that song by?" But, his search continued, looking for a deeper more melodic sounds, strange atmospheres with combined with twisted rhytms and a aggressive bass drum. Mikka strives to excel above what has already being produced. Looking to crave his own sound and style, all the while gaining new fans and finally finding a home for his music.
