Ramon140 (Ramon) is an independent electronic musician/DJ.
Introduced to electronic music in the early 90’s by his brother and best friend, Ramsin (who is also a DJ), Ramon instantly fell in love with the sound. Those were the days of 2 Unlimited, AB Logic, The KLF, Hardfloor, Deep Forest, and Enigma to name a few…
His studio gear started growing after taking piano 101 in college as a fun elective. With an associated arts degree and an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, Ramon stopped short of finishing his graduate degree in manufacturing engineering. After 9 years of college, his brain was full and it was time to dedicate more time on making music. With his technical background, Ramon writes, produces, and mixes all the music by himself.
His past experiences include: wedding DJ, nightclub DJ, nightclub assistant manager, bar owner (a chill-out lounge, which was a joint venture with his brother, featuring local and regional DJ’s), and a sales associate at Guitar Center! Yes, Guitar Center…a very tough job because you are surrounded by awesome gear you wished you had, but could not afford.
Currently, Ramon works full time at the Boeing Company as an engineer, designing airplane interiors and in the evenings, he dedicates his time to making music!
