I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

hi, I'm cody. There's not really much to me that other's couldn't tell you. My friends and family come first, but as far as business goes, I've grown to understand the basic cutthroat principles inherent in the music business. Basically, if you and your friend are trying to swim away from a shark, you don't have to swim faster than the shark; you just have to swim faster than your friend. Kind of a fucked up philosphy, but there are a lot of people out there who would rather throw you under the bus than have to wait for the next one.I book bands for Club Vodka, which has been a very rewarding and challenging opportunity for me and has opened a lot of doors that I hadn't had access to before. My boss has already imparted a lot of wisdom to me in a very short time and I'm taking in as much knowledge as I can, every step of the way. My primary goal is to be in the next year, where I want to be for the rest of my life. I've had to cut a lot of BS out to get to where I am, and will fight to the death for my freedom.fair enough?body { background-color:FFFFFF; background-image:url('http://www.profilestyling.com/images/l ayouts/0001.jpg'); background-attachment: fixed; backgroun

My Interests

Music, politics, philosophy, quantum theory, biology, religion, emotion, food, new experiences, progress and the ocean. Click here to learn what's happening in Darfur, Sudan

I'd like to meet:

In reality, anyone who shares my interests, or directly opposes them, for a good reason. Open minded Conservatives, Rabid Liberals, Nihlists, Monks, Rabbis, Shamen, Atheists, and the vast ocean of the undecided.I would definitely enjoy meeting Hunter S. Thompson, Maynard James Keenan, Mike Patton and Tom Waits, those guys are all troubled geniuses, whose talents have impacted my approach to thought and life tremendously. I wish I'd had a chance to meet Dimebag Darrell. Some of my most profound moments as a confused and reckless youth were fueled by his music. I almost got to meet him, once......but some dick at NAMM turned us away. I'd like to talk to Phil Ansalmo, know that since the loss of Darrell, he's caught alot of negative heat.I couldn't imagine losing a friend and bandmate, estranged or not. The people we create with are the ones who can read deeper into our minds. They're also the ones that impact us the most. I think that anyone whose been through what he has would have a lot of insight.I'd really like to meet the President. While I'm fairly convinced that he is an arrogant, wicked and foolish tyrant, I'd love to talk with him about what life is like for the people that he's supposed to be serving. I would understand if he ignored everything that I had to say, because while it wouldn't change anything, at least the message would be conveyed. Then I'd punch him in the dick. I'd love to meet anybody who's seen more than I have so that I can absorb through them the wisdom needed to survive this uncertain torrent of bullshit and compromise that we call life.Ultimately, though, rather than spend all of my time meeting people, I'd prefer to get to know better, the people that I already love and care for.

I won't bore you, though.

Heroes:

My dad, he's the one who taught me to smile when things are tough and to "always walk away smiling with money in your hand". Also, Dante, the Italian poet/cleric who wrote the classic, "Inferno." The guy looked at what was going on around him and called out those in power, the crooked Clergy, which, back then, could have proven fatal. Anyone who's willing to say "Fuck You" to a tangible authority figure deserves some props. Most importantly, though my heroes are the one's who have impacted me more than anyone, my big mafia heads: Sasquatch, B-lipps, Dr. Bobby, Jeevus and the H-bear, Mush, Mackerel, Colonel Fitch, Germy, Mr. Brown, Alex-who needs a nickname, Johnny 5, Lon-dyke, Big-sis, lil-bro, Soli, the LaVey house, Dez, the lost-boys, Co.Y?, The Smokin'-Drinkin'-VanderHinkins, my S.Y.O-G's, the beent'ners, AK, AC, Smoky's crew, Mojo (wherever the fuck you are), Moose, Steady Eddie, Sucio, Monster-Earth and more likely than not, you...
