About Me

CANADIAN FORCES -- It was either this or beauty school...

[Above] Affectionatly known as the Maple Leaf to the english and l'Unifolié to the french, the National Flag of Canada unites us all and symbolizes national unity. [Below] Parliament Hill in the nations capitol of Ottawa, where the House of Commons and Senate are seated and pass legislation that will affect Canadians for generations.

[Above] Canadian troops move into position to conduct operations in Panjwaii District west of Kandahar, after an unconfirmed number of Taliban Insurgents were spotted attempting to set up ambush against the CF patrol. [Below] A young Canadian patriot celebrates Canada Day with her family, she personifies hope and is a good reason to serve for a better tomorrow.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

IN REMEMBRANCE -- If ye break faith with us who die we shall not sleep... though poppies grow...

[Above] Highly decorated veterans of Korea and WWII make up the flag party at Remembrance Day ceremonies across the nation, and many even make diplomatic trips to old battlefields in honour of those who didn't return. [Below] Mounties and Veterans on parade at the Cenotaph at ceremonies in Toronto, countless civilians endure the cold fall air to pay respects to the previous generation and the contemporary one.

[Above] Canadians pay their final respects to four lost comrades, with the realization that more of their number will inevitable join these fallen in the ranks of the next world. [Below] A lone Canadian piper plays for the spirits at Vimy Ridge, where the marble Canadian Memorial in France now stands in recognition of their sacrifice.
