1966/67 pop music. Whatever my three year old daughter's into. Politics, history, philosophy, dancing etc.
It's always a bit disappointing isn't it? I've met a fair few 'famous' people, but subscribe to Lennon's maxim 'don't follow leaders'. The real heroes are all around us - educators, medics, parents, sanitary engineers etc.
Pop circa:1966/67 (Q Magazine called our 1987 album 'retro', which was a dirty word then).
2001: A Space Oddessey (not MySpace...) 30 Is A Dangerous Age Cynthia Bedazzled Sweet Charity Mike Leigh's good, isn't he?
Any British SitCom from 1975. Most things by Dennis Potter.
My three year old daughter loves anything by Emma Chichester. War & Peace blew me away when I was 19.
None [see above note in 'who I'd like to meet']
