Add to My Profile | More Videos As early as 2years old I was influenced by my parents musically. By the age of 3 I was jumping around to Boom Town Rats, Pink Floyd, Jimmy Hendrix.One of Bob's tracks (Rattrap) where the saxophone comes in is where I spat my first bars apparently, from there is where my love for music started. Teenage years had various musical influence on me and I would sing to everything that had a good beat and meaning full words ranging from Mc Hammer to Mobb Deep. I started listening to pirate radio stations, Green Apple, Dream, Don and Cool fm, all of which influenced me into London sounds and London street life, so when Groove Rider and Fabio cooked up jungle in Hackney I was now on the music scene. I raved HARD and really wanted to be a Jungle Mc. I used to listen to Ragga sound tapes and Rap so to have Mc Stevie Hyper D, Mc Det and the Ragga Twins on top of a Beat I was in my element. The Criminal Justice Bill came in and they started shutting clubs early and in some cases locking the venue all together, it was never the same for me after that. I met DJ Deany D and started going round his house, this was when I had my first experience as a jungle mc, he was on the decks and I was on the mic. To sound more professional we wired the mic up to a Marshall amp so I could have a eco on my voice, this is where my name came from Mc Marshall G. We got a set on a pirate radio station Trilogy Fm where I first met Mc Suspect, he went straight into my list of top Mc's which puts him along side Dizzy Rascal, Heartless Crew, Sway, Roll Deep and Kano as far as I am concerned. We started linking in bars and clubs whilst we was playing out live for DJ Deany D. If you ever get to go out with him you will never forget its a Smashment. I was working in the day and rapping at night, during my day job is where I first met Mc Iceeyo. He is in my eyes a Heavyweight British rapper. He had just finished his 2nd album when it all started to piece together. To promote the website and album Iceeyo and I would drive round late hours sticking posters up. Through this we become friends and my respect for Mc Iceeyo was earned. He opened up a whole new stream of avenues for me and though we was just talking, his personal life experiences helped me steer away from things he had already been through in this music industry. I can say if I hadnâ€™t of met him I wouldn't be here now. After listing to his albums and going around as we networked and hustled I knew that his way, the kmk way, was the way to go. Our first track together was an "Eye for an Eye". This was my first time ever in a professional recording studio and the first time I met all of the producers at 4Dee Music. 4D Music have produced all of my tracks so far and if I had my way I would kidnap 4Dee and lock him 24/7 making beats for me. Leeches was my first solo tune and because of this it will always have sentimental value to me, at the time of writing it I was deciding who was real and worth having around me in my life and who was just there for the ride. My third time in studio , for me was the moulding of Mc Marshall G.took a Garage lyric (2nd verse) and converted it to fit the track. I liked the verse and wanted to have another Garage mc on the track to break the tune up, enter Mc Suspect. This is how Mc Iceeyo got to know Mc Suspect and here we are today. Our first Krew tune was Headshots of which I wrote the hook and was my very first experience of getting murked on my own track by Suspect and Iceeyo, never again though.we have now since shot the video You can check that video at the top of the page.also check out other tunes from KMK @ www.myspace.com/suspectmc or www.myspace.com/iceeyokmk which are all available to you courtesy of our manager Andre, who for KMK has been the glue, organising all three of the my space accounts, all filming, photo shoots, promotions and events that we are doing now.
