Dave Newman is the singer and guitar player in a New Orleans based band called "ONE". One was formed as part of a deal in 1999 but the deal went south on the back end. Dave aslo plays keyboards as well and is also working on a solo record in his home studio. ONE is still working on their second CD and are looking to find a regular Bass player.
Dave Newman also sang in the opera "Faust" in college. (see ONE band bio below)

Dave did one feature film score for a low budget science fiction film called "R.O.T.O.R.". Had a small part as a janitor in the film, and in the end wound up with a "associate producer" credit for helping finish the film. I have also done other commercial music

New Rock from New Orleans
ONE is an original rock/alternative group from New Orleans.
The band was formed in 1999 by
David Newman and Steve Staples
and has since then evolved to include members
Sid Gearheart and ______ the unknown bass player who we
have yet to find since the last one flaked.
Although all members have long and varied careers in music,
ONE has an exciting sound evoking both modern and classic rock,
surf and numerous alternative influences.
ONE is currently in the studio working on their second
CD to be released in 2007.
ONE brings together 4 (I mean soon to be 4) strong musicians blending their unique styles into ONE.
The group appeals to youthful audiences as well as young adult listeners.
