A female rock singer with a stunning, unique and enchanting voice meets Scandinavian metal musician/producer. After exchanging views on the current state of rock music, the band's foundation is made in Brisbane, Australia (2005). The goal was to create genuine and strong rock music. To show the world how once again dark, meaningful and strong melodies within beautiful songs can and will conquer spirits across national fences and genre limitations, even when played dirty or as slow as a heart beat.....
The founders (Zophie Lee and Logan Tankred) decided to regroup in Berlin in early 2006. Firstly, an Australian guitarist (Rowan S.), fresh off the boat from London hooks up with the team! A drummer from Berlin (Georg F.) joins in on the cans and finally, a swedish leadplayer named Andreas W.! This lineup ended in december 2007 (but more about that later in the bio)!
BUNNYCUTZ vision was, is and will always be: To blend a truckload of dreams and talents in one great big Rock'n'Roll melting pot! A rock band based on old-fashion virtues with a blue-collar, hard-work, DIY approach that shines through in everything they put their hearts and minds to! True rock with memorable riffs, great melodic hook lines (that sticks without being too sticky or selling out) - tight groove section and a dream of recreating dangerous and real rock as it was before 2001.........
In December 2007 after BUNNYCUTZ headlined a major show at KATO (Berlin, De) the band moved to an undisclosed & remote location in North Germany. The band wanted to isolate themselves to concentrate on the writing of their sofar untitled debut album set to be recorded in autumn 2008! As an necessity to fully unlock the bands potential the group felt it was necessary to do intensive writing sessions and change some members to be able to return meaner and leaner to the live scene in Autumn 2008!.......... The Crusade has just begun.........................
