Good music, good food, good wine, good friends- what else does one need?
Crazy people, lazy people, hazy people, lazy people, people that drive slow in the fast lane, cats and kittens, liberals, republicans, libertarians, centrists, people from the 4th world who know that the kerosene record player is not a very efficient device who insist on rubbing two sticks together ...blah blah blah, yadda yadda yadda...oh- and Carl Brutanananadilewski .. width="425" height="350" ....
There are two kinds of music to me- good and bad. If I like it- its good! If I don't- its bad! My CD collection ranges from the Stones to Stravinsky- so I basically like it all. BUT ESPECIALLY: Zappa, The Band, Elvis Costello, Barry White, Claude Debussy, Beastie Boys, Albert King (anything on the old Stax label for that matter), Black Sabbath, Oz Noy, Nerve, Nicholai Rimsky-Korsakov, Soundgarden, Hendrix, Cake, Stevie Wonder, Rudder, Maurice Ravel, Beck, Wayne Krantz, Steely Dan, Son Seals, AC/DC, Otis Rush, Old Van Halen, BB King, Ottorino Respighi, Freddie King, Earth Wind and Fire, Albert Collins, Bowie, King Crimson, James Brown, Masters of Reality, Etc. etc. etc.- see, I told you I liked it all! AND- Keith Carlock!!! .. width="425" height="350" .... Did I mention Wayne Krantz?
The Simpsons Movie, Team America; Kung Fu Hustle; Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; Memento; Napoleon Dynamite; The Ring; The Shining; A Christmas Story; Debbie Does Dallas; The Game; THIS ONE HOMEMADE FLICK ME AND MY GIRL MADE WITH OUR CAMCORDER; Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; O Brother Where Art Thou?; Sixteen Candles...thats enough- I generally don't have the attention span for most movies- what can I say- A.D.D.!
It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia (officially takes over the top spot), Mr. Show, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Simpsons, The Office, John From Cincinnati, Human Giant, The Food Network, Curb Your Enthusiasm, NASCAR, Sealab 2021, Law and Order, Futurama, The Brak Show, Harvey Birdman...I think you see where this is going- next question!
Anything by: John Fowles, Herman Hesse, Kurt Vonnegut, William Burroughs, Tom Robbins, Thomas Pynchon, Homer, Dr. Seuss, etc.
Heroes are for losers. Aside from that- Ricky Simpson is my hero. Oh- and Danny Steinfeldt!
