When was the last time, you tried something for the first time?

About Me

Welcome to my page here on myspace. No need to write a lengthy story "about me". I grew up in South Jersey/Philly area (Cherry Hill to be exact) but don't have the accent, although I wish I did.I happen to know about 80-90% of the area codes in the United States, and I also know 25 digits of PI (3.1415blahblahblah). You would think with such numerology I'd like math, but honestly, I suck at math, and even failed a math class in college. I'm a pretty decent speller, and think I still know all 50 state capitols from grade school. My favorite word is: disenfranchised.A few years ago, I attempted to get in the Guiness Book of World Records for a game similar to horseshoes called Quoits (I played nonstop for over 12 hours - only to have Guiness say they wouldn't accept a longetivity record for that particular game).I once flew over the North Pole TWICE in the same day. Another time I sang in front of Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, yet I am a horrible singer. Recently, I got asked three times in ONE day if I was Arizona Cardinals QB Matt Leinhart, I am not lefthanded, and never dated Paris Hilton (or did I?), but I can throw a football pretty far. Another time, I hit 2 shots in a row from midcourt, while on my knees throwing the basketball over my head, I would like to think not many people have done that, then again I could be way off in that assumption. Please don't ask me to attempt that again, because I am not proficient enough in math to calculate the odds of doing that a second time.I have had a lot of other random moments that have added up to some fun stories, and I'm that guy who catches things at concerts (most notably: Slash's ring). As you can see by my quotes and interests I like the 1980s, hair "metal" bands, and I am a sports fan (the pro Philly teams - Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, 76ers and for college The Ohio State Buckeyes probably in that order).Obviously, there is a lot more to me than those few sentences above. There is only so much you can learn about a person in their "about me". Feel free to email me and ask me whatever you'd like, and I just may tell you. I understand this site can be addicting and I know it is fun to read profiles and add "friends". While I like to read everything from biographies to poetry, I have pulled a few quotes from some random rock songs/artists that can always sum things up. **** The only adventures I regret are the ones I missed - David Lee Roth **** Your only validation is in living your own life, vicarious existence is a f*cking waste of time - Axl Rose **** I wanna Rock N Roll all nite and party everyday -- KISS And of course every word to every Bon Jovi song recorded and yet to be recorded (hey, I'm from Jersey what do ya expect?)

My Interests

Hanging out and laughing with friends. Working out, hiking, playing sports - just being as active as possible some days, and doing absolutely nothing on others. I love conspiracy theories and love to research them and see if there is any merit to them. Did we walk on the moon? was there a second shooter at Dealey Plaza? I also like exploring unsolved mysteries but really need to come back in another life as a forensic scientist (but as divulged in the about me, math is a weakness, and I guess that is the same with science too). I also like reading a good book or going to the Viper Room on Monday nights to see Metal Skool scratch that - Mondays are now at The Roxy... And hey, the Rainbow is ALWAYS a fun night out :)

I'd like to meet:

Players, Phonies, Famous People, Flaky People, Hangers on, Name Droppers, Fakes, and let's not forget Wanna Be's and Users too. Oh wait, I have already met all those people. In fact, I'd like to meet just the opposite. Tall order living in Los Angeles, but I also have met people who are indeed genuine and real, and those are the ones I call my friends, so I know it can be done. Are ya with me? Cool, fun, outgoing, positive, level headed, openminded, down to earth, drama free people apply here, always plenty of room for you in my life. I just like to have great times, with great people wherever that may be.

Music:

80s "metal" bands - from Bon Jovi to Warrant to Tesla to Cinderella - you name one of those bands and I probably like(d) them. Poison, Def Lep, Whitesnake, Metal Skool aka Metal Shop, OF COURSE:GnR (Eye, eye, eye where do we go now, where do we go Sweet Child O' Miiiine), Van Halen (2 of the 3 singers), Motley Crue, Skid Row, Parlor Trixx, Heaven's Edge, Trixter (who? Trixter, yeah I said it), I like other kinds of music, but that era is my fave - deal with it.... Although, Dr. Dre's "The Chronic" and The D.O.C's "No One Can Do It Better" lead my rap category. I think Stevie Wonder has an amazing voice, but don't know enough songs. As far as guilty pleasures, Hall and Oates are right there, and secretly - Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill" is always a feel good song...

Movies:

Comedies: Weird Science, Fletch, Planes,Trains and Automobiles, Family Vacation, 16 Candles, and newly added to the list Old School Action: Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Fugitive, Rocky, Midnight Run (the litmus configuration test is a brilliant scene) And of course - Rockstar!!! :)And this scene:

Television:

Prison Break!, How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld re runs, Sopranos, WWE wrestling, Sportscenter, any practical joke/hidden camera show - I even watch Candid Camera on the Spanish and Asian channels, no I don't speak those languages, but I love those shows anyway. So, I guess currently Punk'd is that show. I also like , and History Channel and Discovery Channel, Comedy Central Presents, and Premium Blend, of course Beauty and the Geek, Biggest Loser, Miss Universe Pageant (don't laugh til ya see my pics) and any of the ones I create that ever see the light of day on tv (and they will!)

Books:

True Crime, Autobiographies, Bringing Down the House, Busting Vegas, Grisham, Joe McGuiness and wow this is a good one - Motley Crue - The Dirt (once you read it, you will never feel clean again)

Heroes:

People who make their dreams and goals come true no matter the odds and obstacles...
