Hi its drifter from the Renegade Family which i am going to give you a little insight and background about how we started up the group in 1995 i was based in N.W London and meet first Mr.D who woz the Dj we both decided on the name Renegade Family and made the group ten man strong needing all of us to help carry music equipment that Mr.D built playing in house parties,scouts club,weddings etc. By 2000 we got so established that we started going on radio and into small night clubs and grew from there. By this time there woz only 3 of us intrested in making it in the music scene which woz me Drifter as a Host/Mc, Mr.D as our DJ and Scandle a Host/Mc.With all our talents together is how we became Renegade family, known everywhere for playing the best in all genres of music from old classics, to Garage,Eski,Bashment,R&B,Hip hop,Drum&Bass,Jungle, house,Funky House,Crunk to even a little bit of rock mixed in. I would describe myself as a wise kind of guy who can be funny at times as well as being serious when i have to be. I do have a good sense of humour ladies! I am a kind of person that wants to go futher in life so i try to reach all my goals and tagets i set myself. Most of my time goes into music i feel i have been fortunate enuff to travel all around the UK and Abroad doing what i do best which is hosting and mcing in clubs. I have hosted for promotion club nights such as Sidewinder,Twice as Nice,Eskimo Dance,Female Skanker,Mix It Up,Garage Nation,Sweet Harmony,Lush in Colcester,Summerfest in Pontins Southport,Ministery Of Sound and many more.It made me so happy to see us in 1 year of being established on the main scale of the clubbing scene to see Renegade Family come 7th best entertainers in the uk at the Sidewinder Awards we worked so hard! for that.I have also took part in radio station such as Unqiue Fm ,Freeze Fm,Sweet Fm and Lush Fm and not forgetting how Drifter,Mr D and Scandle hyped up carnival which woz heavy. I will never forget the crowd going frantic pulling up da record and screaming,blowing der horns for more! dats done every year standard. We have also played in 10rooms,rococo,and courts in central london. This is the best feeling for me when im infront of a crowd and loads of ravers are going mad for more.I have host/mc alongside most entertainers in the music business such as Akon,Sean Paul,Red Rat,Fat Man Scoop,Kano,EZ,Heartless Crew,Tim Westwood,Roll Deep,Viper,Trevor Nelson and many more. I want to take time out to big up! all the artists that has helped us along the way from General levi,Tubby T,Smujji,Gappy Ranks,Bushkin,Dizzman,Redrat,Swell dawg,Terror danger,kele la Roc to Lethal B and many more.(BIG UP ALL DA MUSIC ARTISTS TRYING TO DO POSITIVE MOVEMENTS IN THE MUSIC SCENE LOOK OUT FOR MY NEW LABEL BEATS2BEATZ IN 2008!)God bless my family the sick,hungry,dying and the healthy.
