PLEASE have a look at the page before pressing the add button. I just add bands, if they have anything to do with early punk and new wave in Switzerland or if I know them personally. And please, I'm tired of getting requests from stupid skate "punk" and emo bands, don't even try...

Was ist der Sinn dieser Seite? Ganz einfach, bekannte und vergessene Perlen des einst so lebendigen schweizer Untergrunds wieder hervorzukramen. Die meisten Punks und Gothics kümmern sich kaum noch um die Wurzeln ihrer Subkultur, es gibt zu viel Kommerz und viel zu wenig Kultur, dagegen wehre ich mich. Die Schweiz ist subkulturell mehr oder weniger tot, aber das war nicht immer so.... Bands wie Grauzone, Kleenex/Liliput oder Yello haben etwas neues geschaffen und die internationale Musiklandschaft nachhaltig geprägt! Darüber hinaus gab es eine Vielzahl - heute meistens unbekannter - Bands, einige Labels und Fanzines, die mit einfachsten Methoden und frei nach dem Motto "DIY or DIE!" den kulturellen Untergrund in der Schweiz gestaltet und bereichert haben.
