Pulshar is a band formed by Pablo Bolivar, renowned electronic composer with an extensive discography, and Sergio Aphro, graphic designer, “loop digger” and vocalist. Both have been working in the studio for half of this year to bring us the music from the deepest of their passionate minds. “Babylon Fall Collection” is a collection of 5 astonishing tracks that combines deep soul and old classy dub with some space-tech elements. An unforgettable trip into the darkest side of the band's soul, inspired by the cult movie Nospheratu , this is one of the greatest dub and melancholic tracks of the year. A trippy bass and envolving melodies for an instant bloody dub joy.Rod Modell and Steven Hitchell take the controls on the B side and produce one of their best reworks yet under their Echospace alias. They have reduced the original track to a deep and emotional piece. A majestic cavalcade into dub techno, a composition full of rich textures which remind of a cloudy day in Detroit city; accompanied by a subtle conga that kicks off from the middle of nowhere and turns out really smooth, deep & dark. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------- PULSHAR / BROTHERHOOD REMIXED / PHONOBOX006 ------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------Sven Weisemann is only twenty-three years old, but already he's carved out a niche which is unmistakably his own. As a producer, his music draws deeply on the legacy of Chicago and Detroit, yet somehow manages to end up sounding as fresh as a daisy. A self-taught musician who plays piano, acoustic guitar and percussion, Weisemann also composes jazz and soundtracks, traditions which also influence his house records no doubt, many of which you can find on new German labels such as Liebe Detail, Styrax Leaves and especially Mojuba, where Weisemann's music slots together with friends Nick Solé and Oracy to form a distinct, and highly collectible, label sound. Berlin newcomer Sven Weisemann takes on the Nospheratu remix; it's proper deep house music that is half atmosphere and half beats. We can find a few parallels with the Nospheratu reduction by Echospace, the deep vibes treatment and use of the subtle conga which now becomes the key of the track. This is dubbed out house music at its best. The Soultourist boat is crewed by Tobi Foster, Ron Shiller, Philippe Wüger (Thabo), and Pascal Dubach (Big Clap)  however, the rowing is done in shifts. Soultourist's first 12  was released on Jazzanova s renowned label Sonar Kollektiv. The latest two singles were released on their own label Drumpoet Community, which was founded in 2006 by Alex Dallas, Ron Shiller & Tobi Foster, and is the home of artists such as Quarion, Manuel Tur & Dplay, Kawabata and The Lost Men. Dub by the Rriver is the track re-dubbed by Soultourist. Deep house with a certain dubby tech flavour, re-built for more dance-floor orientated action.Dubbyman & Above Smoke are the heads of Deep Explorer Music, a label that has become a cult for all deep house lovers after having splendid releases and remixes by Nick Sole, Juju & Jordash, Mick Huckaby, Lady Blacktronika, Sasha Dive... Mr Money Man finds its pace between dub and deep, beauty and beast, good and evil. This remix becomes essential to be played out if you want the girls on the floor to go nutts!! Pulshar combinan un postulado Dub con los sonidos más avanzados extraidos del turmix evolutivo del Techno de Detroit, bebiendo directamente de clásicos como Basic Channel, Studio One, Maurizio o Burial Mix y en perfecta armonía con la vertiente más espacial de la música jamaicana. Con la música electrónica nos es posible viajar en el tiempo, y al igual que en la obra maestra de Kubrick, donde se desarrolla un paralelismo entre el origen del mundo y el futuro incierto, Pulshar tienden un puente entre estos dos mismos opuestos. Como ilustra todo el trabajo visual del grupo, se nos adentra en recuerdos evocadores de una edad pretérita e indefinida, donde los mitos, los libros sagrados y el esoterismo se diluyen, y ellos ponen la primera piedra para construir un sonido paradógicamente espacial y futurista.
