Alright, at long last it’s time for 23 Till to take the dive into to the big and mighty My Space pond…As you may or may not know the band is no more, but we been told that there’s still some interest in the stuff that we were doing so why not use the means necessary to keep the kettle boiling. Maybe some new listeners will get to know the band as well. In that case you’re more than welcome.A short history of 23 Till states that the band started in 1985. During the next 10 years the band established themselves as one of the most respected names in the Swedish underground scene. With one foot steadily rooted in classic 77-punk with heroes as The Boys, 999 and early Vibrators (amongst the more obvious names…you know who they are…) the band experimented a lot with various genres and more contemporary influences.23 Till released 4 CDs and a number of singles before they decided to call it quits at the end of 1996.All records were released on the Swedish independent label Beat Butchers.Yes, the band did a reunion. A one night only in their hometown Norrköping was a roaring success around Xmas 2006.Here we hope to give some examples of how the band sounded. We´ll try to change the songs available from time to time.
