Formed in 1984 in Niagara Falls Canada by lead vocalist Sean Lander, lead guitarist Keith Jacobson and drummer Phil Carr, Fantasy Mist spent the 1980's chasing after the glam/arena rock sound and look.
The band spent 5 years with varing degrees of success on the east coast as a club draw and major label opener.
In 1989 guitarist Keith Jacobson was killed in a car accident which shattered the bands plans.
The early 90's saw the band revisited with only vocalist Lander remaining.
After a few years of disappointment in a changing music scene Fantasy Mist was laid to rest.
1995 saw the beginning of a solo album for Lander which has eventually lead to the reformation of Fantasy Mist in 2006.The show is currently a mix of Fantasy Mist originals including Been Here Before, You Got No Right and You Will Love Me, Obscure covers including The Screams Father Mother Son, Sammy Hagars Who Has The Right and Social Distortions Ball And Chain, and a few popular covers including Neil Youngs Rockin' In The Free World, Kenny Chesneys Anything But Mine and Blackmore's Nights cover of the Joan Baez classic Diamonds And Rust. Mix in off the wall ramblings and humor directed at anybody with a pulse and you have the new Fantasy Mist show.
