About Me

i'm a drummer mostly. lately i find i'm expected to be a dj too. right now i play with "why are we building such a big ship?" here in new orleans. i'm dj'ing bounce mostly to the squealing delight of my friends with large asses and booking shows for people i like. right now it's almost mardi gras and there's 8 berliners in my house and 5 estonians on the way. i'm also organizing an exhibition of 300+ artists from new orleans in berlin in 2009. wanna help?

Music:

Band Members: So this is the section where i tell you what's happening on the other side of the page...as i change the music, i'll adapt this description................................................. .................................................the songs i put up are individual moments of projects i've worked on since the year 2000........................................................ ...........................................Everything that Rises must Converge is a song I did with A Particularly Vicious Rumor who is me and my best friend Miss O. She wrote it, and the beat came from me.......................................................... ...........................................Into the Water is a Crooks and Nannies song. Nina Nichols wrote it with Walt McClements and sadly C & N is no more. Walt is now leading a band called Why Are We Building Such a Big Ship? They have a myspace that i think you should investigate. They bring the house down around here. Nina is a brilliant artist and animator and songwriter and if i knew where to find her music i'd tell you......................................................... ...................................................At the End of Time was created spontaneously by myself, Gage Villere and Felix Ashera Chrome under the name And Thus to Infinity! which I stole from Robert Fludd's idea of preexistence...one day after waffle church me and gage and felix decided to make some music and record it. This is only an excerpt of a 3 hour recording. It's entirely live and 100% unscripted. Felix is 5 and i don't need to tell you that she's probably from another planet. I played the acoustic guitar (first time ever!)...................................................... ....................................................Crime Baby was written by Giovanni Dimorente for the band El Radio Fantastique. Giovanni and June are a dashing couple and they have reformed the band in San Francisco to the delight of all them weirdos out there. This song was recorded w/ only 2 microphones at WWOZ studios here in New Orleans. In a room far too small for 7 people.
