About Me

From flying the friendly skies to hitting the TV airwaves, life's been a pretty good adventure so far. Right after graduating college I became a Flight Attendant and flew around the country for about two years. Then it was time to use my college degree, and I moved to the great plains of North Platte, Nebraska to be a TV News Reporter/Anchor at the NBC station there. Then I moved on to the NBC station in Waco, Texas. I later realized the aggressive, harsh TV news world wasn't for me and I moved back to Charlotte, NC. And that's where I'm at now. I'm always looking to make life a little more interesting. We'll see what happens next, stay tuned.

Brokeback Mountain, The Prestige, American Beauty, Big Fish, In Her Shoes, 300, Edward Scissorhands (huge Tom Burton fan), The Matrix movies, The Village (huge M. Night Shyamalan fan), Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion, Clueless, Forrest Gump, the X-Men movies, Girl, Interrupted, just to name a few.

Television:

Heroes, The Office, 30 Rock, Gossip Girl, Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, Dirt, Cold Case, Veronica Mars, CSI Las Vegas, Brothers and Sisters, Project Runway, Top Chef, How I Met Your Mother, and of course TV News ( I still can't break away from it!)

Books:

I'm not a big reader, but when I do tackle a book it has to be a mystery or something freaky like Stephen King. I have read all of Christopher Rice's books though, he is an amazing writer.
