About Me

What do I say about me? Hmmm-well, first off, I'm a geek. It's true. I'm a nerd, a dork, dweeb, misfit, outcast, goofball, oddball-whatever you wanna call it. I collect comic books, attend conventions religiously, I'm not heavily into (or overly skilled at) sports, I'd rather watch cartoons w/my 2 sons than watch wrestling with the guys, & I surf the internet-primarily to talk about nerd topics. I'm Peter Pan of sorts; a big kid in other words. So think of that what you will. I'm also a fun-loving, good-natured guy. And while I'm not a fan of "Biggie Smalls"/"Notorious B.I.G." (or whatever the hell we're calling him this week) I happen to share his first & last name. Which is just funny to me & led to a rather amusing anecdote which I'll gladly share upon request. I'm an aspiring graphic novelist-(YOU HAVE TO BE A BIT OF A GEEK TO EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS); I'm on here basically for fun but also to search out possible networking opportunitites. What I am most certainly NOT looking for is a date, a girlfriend, a creep-off buddy, a friend with benefits-ANYTHING along those lines, for I am TAKEN. And quite happily so, I might add. I've actually started things up again with a long-lost love, who I recently got in touch with. I'd had 3 Presidential terms to get this woman out of my system & COMPLETELY failed to do so. And I couldn't be more excited to have her back in my life. I relocated to another state just to give us a real shot. Niosha Iyana Moore, AKA "Nycky", AKA "Yoshi", AKA "Cynnamon Brown", AKA "G***b****" (Sorry, folks; that's classified. AND she'll kill me.) you are truly the light of my life. You're the Wendy to my Peter Pan; the Mary Jane to my Peter Parker; the Storm to my Black Panther. I'm greatly looking forward to making up for the last 12 years & beyond. Television:

Smallville first & foremost. DO NOT call me when Smallville is on!!!!! CSI, Shark, Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, Everybody Hates Chris, King Of The Hill, Boston Legal, House, Boondocks, Law & Order, Robot Chicken, Celebrity Fit Club, I Know My Kid's A Star. I occasionally do reruns of Fresh Prince & George Lopez. And I really miss Dead Like Me, Blade, Dark Angel, Weeds, Californication & Big Shots. But truth be told, more often than not the TV's watching me. I just like to have the background noise when I'm reading, drawing, what have you. Or my kids will be watching something that won't interest me in the slightest. The TV's on right now & I'm not paying it any attention.

Heroes:

God, Martin Luther King, people who choose to make a difference in their community rather than sit around & complain about it. Parents who truly put their kids first. And any prominent black figure who does not advocate the glorification of crime, violence, sloth & ignorance.
