Growing from the home soil of Port Elizabeth, 5 talented and passion driven musicians, came together and formed Venality mid 2006!! Lee and Mike formed the core of the band in 2003 and were later joined by Marius early 2006! In August 2007, Dixen took over lead vocal duties! Venality has enjoyed play time on 5FM. AlgoaFM and BayFM over the past 2 years with songs from our demo disc "Twelve Hours Till Deadline" featuring "Our Way" , "Dreams" and "Undesired". Venality made it through to the finals of the 21 grand band search in 2007 with Dixen as our lead vocalist only having 1 month to prepare himself. At the end of 2007 Venality won the R.B.F Studios Battle of the bands. Venality was also at Woodstock9 where we played a 2 hour set of Metallica at tribute to my influence as well as our original material. in Dec 2007 old Bassit Doug left the band!
