CHANELI really don't want to be taken as trite or insincere.... but I do have to tell you that I woke up Tuesday morning with the feeling that we lived like thieves sleeping only as much as was necessary to steal the most of the day, and cheat the night... I like that. We have to always live like that...I hope that this weekend affords us the opportunity to see each other. I'll talk to you soon. ************************************************************ ********** I used to say I wanted a nice stretch of pavement to lay my face across in a crash so violent that I might be a good-looking sacrifice in the name and beauty of youth. As hard as I've seemingly tried to accommodate that, I have, as yet, walked away from every last wreck, bruised and feeling more removed from the preceding events.I used to flirt with that line between what would surely kill me and what would just barely, and felt more alive only in the instant that I could laugh at the absurdity... In your sincerity there exists something which defies my cynicism, and we are young and laughing through a cemetery like we know that we'll never die-and I'm the better for it.Claire, I don't know when, or if I can see you, but I'll be alright...
