About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4Greetings! I'm happy to serve as the host of REMO D.'S MANOR OF MAYHEM, Monterey County's local "creature feature" show--now in its ninth season! If you can't catch us locally (Monterey cable channel 24--AMP)--you can still watch on-line... Fridays and Saturdays at 10PM Pacific, or Saturdays and Sundays at 5AM Pacific--by going to www.ampmedia.org and then choosing "Programs" and "Live Stream" for Channel 24!The MANOR is proud to represent the Horror Host Underground at www.horrorhosts.com, as well!I'm happy to add just about anybody as a friend... with one unfortunate caveat. Not to have a big head about it, but as I'm a published film reviewer (Video Watchdog, Screem Magazine) as well as a host, I can't add/display profiles advertising movies I haven't seen for myself, lest it constitute an endorsement. If you'd like me to review your movie, by all means contact me and send me a copy... I'll treat it without bias and call it exactly as I see it--that's my job. I will HAPPILY hype any and all TV horror host shows, because we're all in this together, but individual films require individual appraisals, and I don't want to inspire any ill will by adding some movie sites while denying others. Oh, and needless to say, those who exist just to spam won't last long on my profile--but that hasn't been much of a problem to date. If you're for real, you are always welcome at the Manor!

My Blog

P2 is not a video game console...

With a title like this, the filmmakers HAD to expect plenty of jokes. "Playstation 2." "P-U." "Drink Too Much And You'll..." The premise is simple enough--psychopath stalks and traps ambitious young w...

Before the Devil Knows You’re Dead

I am literally in awe. It's been about thirty years since Sidney Lumet knocked it out of the park with NETWORK. The man is eighty-three years old and he's still got it. Same goes for Albert Finney. Ok...

30 Days of Night

Okay, we've been subjected to the hype for months on end, and we've got a Number One at the boxoffice as a result. We all know that this is the vampire film set in Alaska during the "30 days of night"...

RESIDENT EVIL: Third time’s the charm?

"You mean all this could end?""Correct. However, there is a small problem." Remember--I'm not a gamer. How this or any other video-game-derived movie matches up to its inspiration is a debate f...
