Dedicated Sinners were formed during fall 2002 after Tim and Marc met at a rockfestival in Belgium. Maybe it was the alcohol..who knows, but they figured it was a good idea to start a rockband. Tim took the bass/vocalsposition, Marc on the guitars. Most rockbands have a drummer, so an old friend of Tim's, Michael Eijk (Delirium, Midian) took place behind the drumkit. There was also this guy, called "Q"...God knows what he was doing..Everything went fine for a couple of months. Q soon decided to leave the band. That was not a very big problem, since he was one of two guitarists. A bigger problem formed the departure of Mike some time later (around spring 2003), 'cause he was our only drummer (duh). Luckily Arjen Knaap (Kingfisher) was just in between bands, so the replacement was a fact. Now a "powertrio", Dedicated Sinners recorded a demo with 4 songs. The demo sounded pretty good and all was well. During fall 2003 the Sinners were recorded while playing in Amsterdam in the Hotel Arena venue. New songs were made, gigs were played and we was rockin' baby!!Early 2005 the band was reinforced by the coming of guitarslinger Peter van den Nieuwendijk (De Gasten). Now the band had a wider, fuller, Les Paul fueled sound and even more space for solo's (YEAH! We know how much you love 'em!). A few months later however, Arjen left Dedicated Sinners: problem (again). Another drummer was soon (summer 2005) to be found in person of Eelco Zwart (De Gasten). Allright: a fixed line up!! (as it is still the current line up)Since 2003, the Sinners have been giggin' on a regular basis throughout the Netherlands and even did a gig in the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool. The only thing that was still missing was an album.... Was, that is, 'cause the album is now a fact. It's called "Sinner Galore" (don't ask) and will be released soon.
