About Me

Synthetic Torture is a danish death metal band formed in march 2006.
Around summertime 2006, the band recorded their first demo at Konfus Studio in Esbjerg.
8'th september, the band had their live debut as a supportingjob for the danish band Dawn Of Demise at Konfus.
About a month after the show, the band seperated with bassplayer Gakke. But that was only for about 2 weeks until they got 2 guys from Invisius with them - Bassplayer Jeppe Andersson and Guitarplayer Jeppe T Tobiasen.
The two members actually started being as session members. But that was only for a short time, undtil they joined the band for real.
At december, the band got a new studio-time booked for their 2'nd demo. And in april 2007, 4 new tracks were recorded at CB Studios in Denmark.
In the summer of 2007 the band was on the edge of a breakup, as 3 of the bandmembers left the band. The frontman Jacob did come back to the band again, and that kept the band alive.
Line-up changed had to be done. The bassplayer Jeppe took over the drums, and the band got a new passplayer. That was Jakob Fall form the band Invisius.
This new and strong line-up, is now ready to spread death and metal all over Denmark, and the rest of the world.
