Levitation is a young (aged from 20-23) and fresh metal bandfrom Hedehusene (Denmark). The band was formed in November2003, by Jonas Jensen, Morten Olsen and Lucas Thøfner. At this point the three guys had never touched an instrumentbefore.
They started jamming cover songs, but they slowly began tocreate their own music.
The band needed a frontman and contacted André Kristensen.André joined Levitation and took the music to another level. From that day Levitation became a more serious band and theysoon started to play liveshows across Denmark. They still needed a second guitarist to complete the band. Theytried different guys out, but ended up with a close friendcalled Frederik Sewerin Nicolaisen. Frederik joined the bandand completed Levitation.
Levitation recorded their first demo "What's Buried Underneath"in January 2008. This took place in Fee Production Studios nearRibe. The Production of "What's Buried Underneath" was made bymembers of the danish metalband Invisius.
The band was now ready to record their debut EP "End Of AllSanity" in October 2008. "End Of All Sanity" was recorded at CBStudios in Holsted, Denmark. With Christian Bonde as producerthey recorded the three songs - "Paralyzed", "Blood WasSpilled" and "End Of All Sanity".
After some great reviews of "End Of All Sanity" and some killerliveshows afterwards, the band was forced to find a new singerto replace André Kristensen. Sebastian Beronius contacted Levitation when he spotted thechance to become part of the band. His fantastic vocalperformance was very impressing and he got the job almost rightaway! With the new line-up Levitation are now ready to join theDanish metal scene once and for all.Levitation is working on new material for their next EP, whichwe be recorded in CB Studios in January 2010.Stay tuned folks :)-Levitation
