Welcome to the fall...

About Me

I was born in a summer day in Athens, Greece in 1982. My first contact with the guitar was when I was about 10-11 years old when I bought a classic guitar to begin my journey through the music. Unfortunately, I gave up learning after 3 years because I couldn't play even a simple melody.

At the age of 16 I gave it a second chance. I bought an electric guitar, an amp, and I started trying to play the music of my favourite groups. But soon, I got very dissapointed of my abilities in guitar playing. But this time I would not give up.

I started writing stuff with my drum machine and sequencer and as the years were going by, the style begun to unfold by my hands.

By the ends of 2003, I recorded a demo cd with my band DISSOLVE playing some kind of bay area thrash metal. Also by the beginning of 2004 I recorded another demo cd with INSECTED playing technical death metal. Nevertheless, I left INSECTED and DISSOLVE was abandoned for a while. These were the actual causes that let my musical style to be unfolded as it could...

There is a lot to learn about music and this is not to be disputed by anyone! My favorite guitar players are Marty Friedman, Vinnie Moore, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jeff Loomis, John Petrucci, Al Di Meola, Jeff Beck, Greg Howe and lots of others. My favourite singers are the HUGE Warrel Dane, Bruce Dickinson, Mathew Barlow, Messiah Marcolin, Robb Flynn and the faultless God Russ Anderson (for those who know).

I listen to most any kind of music. I trully believe that every single note or melody has to offer something to a musician and really I don't give a shit about the "style" of the music I like listening to. Some of my favourite (metal) bands (which they are not a few to mention here) are Forbidden, Slayer, Nevermore (of course!), Stratovarius, Testament, Sacred Reich, Dream Theater, Machine Head, Korn, .....

This season I am trying to graduate from my university and to improve my guitar playing. In January 2007 I finished mixing my CHRISV demo cd including three instrumental songs. Also, I joined forces with SCAR OF THE SUN as a guitar player.

I am available to new cooperations with good-trained musicians that are really "open-minded" in composing music and playing musical instruments.
